For over 25 years, Tamara has been immersed in learning about and teaching yoga and meditation. She's spent tens of thousands of hours doing it, and is thrilled to share what she's learned with you.

She's been fortunate to learn from some of the world’s foremost Yoga and meditation experts in Canada and India.

Previous to teaching at her studio, Skyhawk Yoga, she was a teacher trainer for one of India's most prominent yoga schools.

She is also the author of over 10 inspirational books, including the bestsellers: Yoga Nidra Scripts and Minute Meditations for Everyday Calm.


All of her books are self-published – over 17,000 copies sold in just 3 years, and a full-time income built from book royalties.

Before becoming an author, Tamara had a 20-year career as an international award-winning copywriter, writing for some of the world's most recognizable brands.

She's excited to share her vast yoga and writing experience with you, and watch you grow!


Assisting Teacher:
Rahul Skyhawk

Rahul will guide you to properly pronounce Sanskrit terms and pose names, and assist Tamara with Hatha Yoga and Bhagavad Gita classes.


With Yoga having been integral to Rahul’s life in India starting from an early age, you can expect Rahul to introduce you to authentic Yogic perspectives and techniques.
