Ashley Petrovsky

In-Studio and Online Yoga Teacher

RYT-500

Ashley trained with Yoga Ghar (Skyhawk Yoga) to receive her 500-hr Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) certification, including Basic and Advanced Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Mudra Yoga and Ayurveda Yoga.

She began teaching in March 2018. Since then she has been teaching weekly classes at Yoga Ghar.

Having practiced yoga for years prior to teacher training, Ashley believed it to be a primarily physical practice with a spiritual component. “Yoga Ghar offered the traditional teachings that transformed me – mind, body, and soul. I’ve discovered that yoga is indeed a spiritual practice with a physical component.”

Ashley incorporates yogic philosophy in her daily life. “Yoga gives me energy, focus, and a sense of calm that I think is needed more than ever in this fast-paced western world.”

Eager to learn more about yoga, including the philosophy and history, in 2016 Erin took the 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga Ghar (Skyhawk Yoga) and Advanced 300-hr in 2020. She found the learning fascinating, and is passionate about teaching others.

As an elementary Music, Dance and Drama teacher, Erin added Children’s & Teen’s Training (Sivananda Laurentian Ashram 2016) to her repertoire.

Kristina Wooldridge

In-Studio and Online Yoga Teacher

RYT-500

My yoga journey began in earnest about 8 years ago. It felt like kismet when Tamara and Rahul moved to Binbrook and opened Skyhawk Yoga. I had practiced yoga before but walking into the studio felt right. I started practicing regularly, and found that I had a passion for yoga like nothing I had ever experienced. I decided to do the 200 hour teacher training at Skyhawk Yoga. That awakened something in me that left me craving more knowledge. I have since completed the 300 hour teacher training and all of the other certifications offered at Skyhawk Yoga.

When I’m not working my full time job as a Digital Learning Manager in the charity sector, I am spending time (outdoors as much as possible!) with my amazing husband, two daughters and rescue dog name Dixie. Along with teaching at Skyhawk Yoga, I also run classes at various recreation centres with the City of Hamilton. I like to keep my classes light and chill. I like to use humour as my main goal is for people to leave my classes smiling.

Lynn Williams

In-Studio Yoga Teacher

RYT-200, Restorative Yoga, Hot Stone Restorative Yoga

Inspired to take her practice further and gain more knowledge, Lynn completed her 200 hour Teacher Training at Yoga Ghar (Skyhawk Yoga) in 2019.  Her true love for yoga blossomed when she began to dive into the spiritual side of yoga. The very things she has always loved about a yoga class: getting into a place physically, mentally, spiritually she has not been before.

Her passion for yoga was further complemented by completing additional training in Chair Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and especially Hot Stone Restorative Yoga.

It was then Lynn found her true passion for practising and teaching Hot Stone Restorative Yoga. Her teaching goal is to create a restorative relaxing soothing experience in her classes, encouraging students to tap into their inner wisdom and find peace, ease and restoration within. Take a deep breath and prepare to feel supported. Her intention is to provide you with the space and setting so you can settle into your practice and most importantly relax and restore your mind and body.
